We're pleased to announce that RackSRV are due to take delivery from Dell of its first batch of Core i7 based Xeon Dedicated Servers during the first two weeks of March.

Default specification (can be upgraded via order form) is Quad 2.67Ghz (with Hyperthreading and Turbo), 4GB DDR3 1333mhz RAM & 1x 250GB SATA2 HDD - all for only £99.99 /month!

Blog Post | KSP Power Maintenance: 21/02/10

As per the detailed email that has already been sent out to clients, in light of the recent power issues at KSP, the following maintenance window has been created to implement a re-designed power distribution infrastructure;

Date: 21/02/10
Time: 00:15 GMT
Duration: ~4hrs
Affected: 82.136.24.0/24, 193.33.186.0/23, 91.204.208.0/23

We strongly advise clients to cleanly shut down their servers by 00:00 GMT to prevent any loss of data which could occur if the server looses power abruptly.  Engineers will be onsite to power equipment back up once the maintenance has been completed.

Update @ 05:30 GMT: We have just been given the official 'all clear' from SOTA, this window is now complete!

Website Maintenance

Our primary website is currently offline whilst we transfer services from a box that's being decommissioned to a more energy efficient and resilient VPS configuration.

We anticipate that downtime will be no more than 2 hours and will update this post as when there is any further news.

EDIT: Website has been transfered to new server, we're having some SSL & Cacti issues though!
