Notification of 'at risk' Maintenance

Posted in Service Status by Jon on 23/08/2012 @ 16:51

We have received notification from the facility owner of our primary KSP POP that there is to be site-wide maintenance of the electrical infrastructure at the park during September, details of which are as follows:

1.) Saturday 8th September 2012: 08:00-09:00 & 16:00-17:00 - Switching of HV Network
2.) Saturday 22nd September 2012: 08:00-09:00 & 16:00-17:00 - Switching of HV Network
3.) Saturday 29th September 2012: 08:00-17:00 - Maintenance of HV Transformers

During the above maintenance windows (times quoted are BST), mains power will be intermittently switched off to the facility.

The onsite UPS & Generator units will provide power during these periods however the facility should be considered at risk due to only having one viable power source.

The facility owner will have personnel onsite during these windows to ensure a smooth changeover occurs between standby and prime power sources.

No action is necessary by clients and no loss of service is expected, it's just routine and good practise for us to share any 'at risk' windows where redundancy may be reduced.

Should any clients have any queries then please do not hesitate to open a support ticket through our client portal.
