KSP Backhaul 'at risk' - Resolved

Posted in Service Status by Jon on 18/04/2015 @ 10:40

We have received communication from our backhaul provider that one of our KSP - LON legs has a fault which has thus impacted redundancy on our network.

Our backhaul provider and their partners are investigating the issue as a matter of priority and we are confident in a quick resolution.

Whilst this issue has not yet (and is not expected too) cause impact to our customers, it's best practice for us to announce any issues that place a POP 'at risk' due to reduced/removed redundancy.

Once we have received confirmation that our KSP POP is no longer 'at risk', we will mark this notification as resolved on our Status Blog.

Our backhaul provider has informed us that the break in the 80km length of dark fibre has been located and the fibres re-spliced thus resuming full redundancy.
